Lipton Farm House

Project Info:

This 4,300 square foot residence is situated on a private farm in Augusta, Missouri. The building’s structure is composed of a Douglas Fir timber frame and reclaimed barn wood siding. SIP panels comprise the wall and roof panels, which combined with triple paned windows creates a highly efficient envelope. The vernacular shape of the building also promotes natural stack ventilation & daylighting through the use of operable windows along the “light monitor”.
