SIUE New Science Building

Project Info:

H+B is the sustainable design consultant on this new 136,000 SF science building. The building houses a range of biological, chemistry and genetics classrooms, and offices. The building was awarded silver certification under the LEED for New Construction Green Building Rating System with an emphasis on indoor environmental quality, energy and water conservation. This was one of the first LEED projects administered by the Illinois Capital Development board, and the project was designed with the intention or providing an example for future new construction projects seeking LEED certification.
